Description

Make restaurant quality french toast at home with 6 simple ingredients.  Milk, egg, cinnamon, vanilla, brioche bread, and sugar are the basis.  A touch of heavy cream adds a slightly richer creaminess and can also be used for an easy maple whipped cream. If you garnish  with a couple berries for that pop of color, it'll make your friends ask..."what restaurant am I in?"

Ingredients

French Toast

Maple Whipped Cream

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, egg, cinnamon, and egg yolk in dish. Whisk together until well combined

reserve half tsp of cinnamon for after first 3 slices, as it will usually get absorbed by first couple slices
  2. Dip thick cut challah bread into french toast custard

  4. Garnish with powdered sugar and berries, and top with Maple whipped cream
